What do you do when you have nothing to write?
Last year, around Thanksgiving, I found inspiration in an article I wrote titled, Our Legacy: A Few Thoughts, an Editor, and a Holiday Click to read the original post (opens in a new window).
This year, I thought that I would try my hand at recording this post. I thought about doing a video, but I’m not sure if you, or I, are ready for that yet. I’ve mentioned the free software Audacity on my Tools page, but I’ve actually only used it a few times, so I thought I’d explore it again. If you’ve wanted to know what my voice sounds like, here’s your chance.
If I get some good feedback (subtle hint) perhaps I’ll do some more. Thanks for being my test subjects.
I hope you enjoy the audio and the story about One Tenacious Writer and Editor.
Publishing my own books will be my way of leaving a writing legacy.
This certainly gives me ideas. Keep ’em coming!
Wow. Well done! Love listening to this. Hope you’ll do more in the future.

Excellent Reading/Excellent Voice!!
I tend to experiment and work with different poetic forms, or approach subjects that I’m not comfortable with…or would normally tend to.
This just for the sake of keeping the creative cogs and gears moving.
Please Keep Experimenting!!!

This was encouraging – since homeschooling our children takes up a good part of the day, I’m not always left with time to write. It’s great to hear that Sara’s career took off when she was older. That’s one thing I like about writing as a career – age doesn’t affect it. In fact, I’m hoping to become a better writer as I age! It was nice to hear your voice, too! Keep experimenting to make your blog better.
